Chili Cheese Dog Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • Package of crescent rolls 8 triangles
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • One can no-bean chili
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: diced onions for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 °F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  • Unroll crescent dough; place a cheese slice and a hot dog on each triangle, then roll up.
  • Arrange rolls in the baking dish and bake until golden, about 12–15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven; pour chili evenly over rolls and top with shredded cheddar (and onions if desired).
  • Return to oven and bake another 10–15 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Swap in spicy chili or add hot sauce for extra kick.
  • Use pepper jack cheese for creamy heat.
  • Serve with pickles or a fresh cucumber salad to cut richness.
  • Let sit a few minutes after baking for cleaner slices.
