Ingredients
  

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For the filling:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the topping:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved

Instructions
 

  • Make the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl until combined. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  • Prepare the chocolate filling: In a small saucepan, heat the cream until just steaming (do not boil). Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth and glossy. Mix in vanilla.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the chilled crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the filling is set.
  • Whip the topping: Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Spread or pipe over the set chocolate filling.
  • Add strawberries: Arrange the halved strawberries on top in a circular pattern or as desired.
  • Chill for an additional 30 minutes before serving to let everything firm up.
