Ingredients

  • 3 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into thin batons
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Toss sweet potato batons in a large bowl with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread fries on the baking tray in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep an eye on them during the last 10 minutes.
  • Once crisped and golden, remove from oven.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Cut fries uniformly for even baking.
  • For extra crispiness, toss fries in 1 tsp cornstarch before oil.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—use two trays if needed.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven to keep them crisp.
