Ingredients

  • Ingredients for boxed brownie mix typically including eggs, oil, and water
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme
  • 25 mini peanut butter cups halved
  • 12 oz semi‑sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal

Instructions

  • Bake the brownies according to the box directions in a 9×13 pan; cool completely, then chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Spread an even layer of marshmallow creme over the chilled brownies and chill another 30 minutes.
  • Arrange halved peanut butter cups evenly over the marshmallow layer.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter; heat in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  • Stir in crispy rice cereal until coated; carefully spread this mixture over the peanut butter cups.
  • Chill for 1 hour before cutting into bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For ultra-clean slices, chill long enough so the layers set firmly.
  • Swap in dark chocolate for a richer contrast.
  • Press the cereal mixture gently to adhere without breaking the layer.
  • These bars hold well in the fridge—perfect for prepping in advance.
