- 2 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning or mix of oregano, basil, thyme, and rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Layer chicken breasts on top and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
