- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- Juice of 1 small lemon
- 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Green onions chopped, for garnish
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice.
Add shrimp and marinade to a zip-top bag or bowl. Seal and marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter.
Remove shrimp from marinade (reserve marinade). Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
Sear shrimp for 2 minutes per side, or until pink and lightly golden.
Pour reserved marinade into the skillet and simmer until sauce thickens, about 2–3 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
