- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small cabbage chopped
- 2 cans 14.5 oz each diced tomatoes
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup precooked brown rice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 –2 teaspoons sea salt
Cook the Beef and Aromatics
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.
Add ground beef and onion, cooking until beef is browned and onion is soft.
