Ingredients

  • ¾ cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups all‑purpose baking mix such as Bisquick
  • 12 ‑oz bag of M&Ms regular or peanut butter variety

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease an 8‑inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine peanut butter and eggs until smooth and well blended.
  • Add brown sugar and stir until mixture is even.
  • Stir in baking mix; mixture will be thick (almost like a dough).
  • Fold in M&Ms so they are distributed throughout the dough.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 35‑40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and edges are set.
  • Allow to cool completely, then cut into bars.

Notes

  • If bars puff up during baking then sink a little, that’s okay—it helps create a chewy middle.
  • Use parchment paper under the pan for easier removal of entire slab.
  • Let them cool completely for cleaner cuts. Warm bars can crumble.
  • Swap or mix in different candy if you like: peanut butter M&Ms, or even chocolate chips + candy pieces works.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1‑2 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
