Total Time 1 hour hr
- ¾ cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups all‑purpose baking mix such as Bisquick
- 12 ‑oz bag of M&Ms regular or peanut butter variety
Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease an 8‑inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
In a bowl, combine peanut butter and eggs until smooth and well blended.
Add brown sugar and stir until mixture is even.
Stir in baking mix; mixture will be thick (almost like a dough).
Fold in M&Ms so they are distributed throughout the dough.
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 35‑40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and edges are set.
Allow to cool completely, then cut into bars.
-
If bars puff up during baking then sink a little, that’s okay—it helps create a chewy middle.
-
Use parchment paper under the pan for easier removal of entire slab.
-
Let them cool completely for cleaner cuts. Warm bars can crumble.
-
Swap or mix in different candy if you like: peanut butter M&Ms, or even chocolate chips + candy pieces works.
-
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1‑2 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
