1 box brownie mix (chocolate fudge variet+ ingredients called for on box – I used Pillsbury
1/4 C Baileys Irish Cream
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 C heavy cream
1/3 C Baileys Irish Cream
- Prepare brownies according to package instructions except replace the water called for with Baileys. Bake as instructed and allow to cool completely.
- Place chocolate chips in a bowl.
- Place heavy cream and Baileys in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring just to a boil and then pour over chocolate chips. Do not stir right away. Wait 3-5 minutes and then stir the chip mixture until smooth. Pour/spread mixture over cooled brownies. Allow ganache to cool at room temperature.
Instructions previously stated to store in refrigerator. Many people have reported extended refrigeration resulted in hard brownies. Brownies can be stored on counter.
