This Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread is perfectly moist and equally decadent! The combination of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate is unbeatable!
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup oil (I used canola)
3 Medium very ripe bananas
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350
In a large mixing bowl beat the peanut butter, oil, bananas, cocoa, and sugar until well combined. Mix in the eggs and milk. Add the baking soda and flour and mix on low just until combined.
Pour batter into a greased loaf pan (9×5 1/2″) and bake for 40 – 50 minutes or until tester inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean or with crumbs. Let cool at least 20 minutes before removing from pan. Let cool completely.
Once bread has cooled, melt peanut butter in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds until thin enough to drizzle. Spoon into a baggie and snip the very corner off. Drizzle over bread and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Store in a sealed container.
